The renowned Valencian artist, Marina Puche, has illuminated the cuidArt room of the Marina Health Hospital of Dénia with its new and captivating exhibition "Love at first ink," which will be exhibited from today until mid-January.
This exhibition, titled "Love at First Ink," is an impressive retrospective of his versatile work, which encompasses a variety of artistic media, from striking mural interventions to delicate cut-outs, sketches, drawings and the iconic "ninots" of the Fallas Valencian.
Marina Puche gained national notoriety in March of last year when she became the first woman in history to lead the design of the Valencia municipal falla. Under the title "Valencian cardioversion," its central creation represented an imposing heart, symbolizing the heartbeat of the Fallas festival and the rebirth of the city after two years of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the darkest months of the pandemic, Marina Puche found inspiration and created the exhibition block that occupies a prominent place in this exhibition. This block includes a series of small format drawings with themes related to health care and whose compilation was published in a book titled "Gané."
Exhibition "Love at first ink" at the Dénia Hospital is an extension of the acclaimed exhibition that was recently presented at the Center del Carme de Cultura Contemporánea in Valencia.
