El Marina Health Hospital, from the Ribera Health Group, has been nominated in three categories of the TOP 20 awards, whose winners will be announced next Tuesday, October 24, in a ceremony to be held in Madrid.
The areas in which the Dénia Hospital has stood out as a finalist are Nervous System, Respiratory and Global Hospital Management. In the previous edition, the hospital already demonstrated its excellence in the same categories, adding Kidney and Urinary Tract to its list of awards.
The TOP 20 are a recognition given to the best hospitals, after comparing the results between more than 200 health centers throughout Spain. These centers voluntarily submit to the evaluation of thirty indicators.
These indicators include the efficient management of hospital stay and surgery without admission, compared to measures of risk-adjusted readmissions, complications, and mortality.
The TOP 20 program is a process of voluntary and free evaluation which is based on objective indicators obtained from routinely recorded data. It provides the healthcare sector with a valuable reference for improving results, based on quality, performance and efficiency indicators.
13 nominations for the Ribera Healthcare Group
In addition to the recognition obtained by the Dénia Hospital, other hospitals of the Ribera Health Group, as El Hospital Universitario de Torrejón has achieved five nominations in the categories of Global Hospital Management, Women, Digestive, Kidney and Pediatrics.
Likewise, the Vinalopó University Hospital has achieved three nominations, highlighting its excellence in Global Hospital Management, Women and ICU. For its part, the Ribera Hospital de Molina is a finalist in Traumatology, and the Ribera Povisa hospital has obtained a nomination as a finalist in the Digestive category.
