El Hospital de Dénia has been recognized for his involvement in the Home Hospitalization Unit, receiving an Honorary Recognition during the Tribute to Palliative Care, held at the Mercantile Athenaeum of Valencia.
More than twenty social and health entities in the Valencian Community, the Dianense UHD has received an Honorary Recognition for "its work and excellence in caring for patients with Palliative Care."
La distinction was collected by the Head of the Home Hospitalization Unit from the Department of Health of Dénia, Charo Baydal. In addition, the tribute event has been organized by various entities, including the Valencian Society of Palliative Medicine, the Valencian Society of Bioethics and the Mercantile Athenaeum of Valencia.
During the event, specialists, health professionals and patients' families analyzed the current provision of health care to patients in the final stage of life or affected by incurable pathologies.
