The Ribera healthcare group has appointed María Pilar Navarro as the new manager of the Department of Health of Dénia, until now managing director of the Torrejón de Ardoz University Hospital (Madrid), also managed by the Ribera group.
With almost twenty years of experience in the concession model, Navarro has worked at the La Ribera Hospital (Alzira), in the departments of Manises, Torrevieja and Vinalopó (Elche), and for the last 15 months she has been the managing director of the Hospital Torrejón de Ardoz University, one of the health centers that in the Community of Madrid operates with the public-private model.
In this new stage, the proposal of the Strategic Plan of the Department of Dénia for the next five years. This plan has been drafted by a multidisciplinary team of professionals from this Department of Health in recent months and has already been presented to the Ministry of Health and the Presidency of the Generalitat.
The Ribera group advances that it has planned a investment of 60 million euros in five years for the region of the Marina Alta and that range from the construction of new health centers and the infrastructure renewal in Primary Care to a firm commitment to high technology and the renewal of equipment. They also add that the largest budget item will be for the People Area, where it is planned to invest in programs aimed at attracting and retaining talent and the well-being of professionals.
In the coming weeks, María Pilar Navarro will begin meetings with the professionals and union representatives of the Department, as well as with the mayors and patient associations of the region, to convey to them the commitment of the Ribera health group to excellence in health care, in benefit of the citizens of the area.
It should be noted that Navarro has a degree in Law from the University of Valencia and an MBA Master's degree in Administration and Management of Health Services from the Pompeu Fabra University. The new addition will replace Javier Palau in the management of the hospital, who has been linked to the healthcare group in recent years and to whom Ribera thanks the services provided and wishes him good luck in his new projects.
