Next Saturday, December 8, the Calle Marques de Campo of Denia will host a new edition of the Fira del Joguet Antic i el Coleccionisme en Paper, which reaches its 21º edition this year.
Organized by the Associació d'Amics del Joguet de Dénia, this fair has become a reference for collectors of antique toys. Thirty participants from the Valencian Community, Catalonia, Madrid and Dénia will participate this year, which from 9:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m. will exhibit their material at the fair stands, as one of the organizers explained , Rodolfo Iglesias.
The president of the association, Mayte Carrió, has indicated that this year will also have the participation of the students of the IES Historian Chabàs, who will carry out activities and street games in the second section of Marqués de Campo during the hours of the fair.
For toymaker Manolo Noguera, the association brings together "a group of nostalgic" which aims to bring the youth love for the toy of Dénia, so they invite society to visit the fair and take the opportunity to visit the Toy Museum, which is expected to expand in the coming years.
For his part, Councilor Rafa Carrió has praised "the effort and desire of the members of the association" in the organization, year after year, of this important fair.
