Cu Cú combines dance, interpretation and text to encourage us to reflect on the measure that the person takes towards life and especially towards life made real: another person in the present. The encounters, the looks, the confrontation, the identification, the connection, become changes and movements that happen at the same time in the space created as part of being social beings that live incessantly, fleetingly and with relative distances with respect to established relationships. . Cu Cú promotes reflection and active identification of the public itself in the now as a constant vital transit.

  • Maelstrom. Insomnia New Circus. Marqués de Campo Street. A maelstrom can be a very strong whirlpool in the water due to the action of the air or also a mixture of very intense feelings. In the Insomnia Nuevo Circo proposal, both occur to a greater or lesser extent. They begin manipulating the object, the mace, accompanied by a simple, basic, constant rhythm, which allows them to go from apparently simple movements adjusted at the same time as the sound to making small variations, always with the risk of playing with the gravity, air and the possible fall of the mace. Between the two, with their bodies in continuous movement, which intensifies as they add clubs that fly through the air from hand to hand, they feed that maelstrom that allows us to enjoy a proposal of great cleanliness in its execution.
