The Department of Health of Dénia will present nine papers to the National Congress of Hospitals

The Dénia Health Department, managed by the Ribera Health Group, will present nine papers at the XXXIII edition of the National Congress of Hospitals and Health Management, which begins tomorrow in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The annual meeting, which brings together more than two thousand health professionals from all over Spain, will be developed around four major themes: "Managing with and for People", "Promoting the Transformation of Health Organizations", " Commitment to Sustainability and “Innovate in Health. Value-Based Management”.

In the section "Managing with and for People", the Dénia Health Department will present a total of six papers, all of them aimed at improving the quality perceived by patients. The first of these provides the user with online access to Diagnostic Imaging tests, the same day they undergo the examination.

In this same section, the Head of the Fibromyalgia Service, Dr. Vicente Palop, will present a study on the benefits of music therapy in patients with pain and chronic fatigue.

Finally, the rest of the presentations of this first thematic block are presented in collaboration with the Quality Department of the Ribera Group, and will attend the National Hospital Congress under the headings: "Measurement and improvement of health results through focus groups ”, “Improving the experience of patients in the UCSI –Outpatient Surgery Unit-”, “Patient Experience Committees as a key instrument for continuous improvement” and “Integration of Patient Experience to improve the Health Care Management”.

In the second thematic area, "Promoting the Transformation of Health Organizations", the Nursing of the hospitalization floor will contribute a work on the creation of a unit specialized in the management and care of patients
with acute and disabling pathologies, which require a multidisciplinary rehabilitation, to achieve a recovery of their physical and mental autonomy.

Finally, in the fourth thematic block, referring to "Innovating in Health. Value-based management", the Dénia Health Department will present two works: the first raises a question about the treatment of pulmonary hypertension; while the second is a study on hospital discharges, which contemplates the creation of a physical space, intended for the attention and care of the patient while the discharge process is finished and the implementation of a tool to manage beds in hospitals. real time.
