Dénia becomes the destination of Valencia with more distinctions Tourist Quality Commitment

After only a few months since joining the project to improve the quality of tourist destinations SICTED, Dénia has positioned itself as the city of Valencia with more tourist quality distinctions, 40 total, involving public and private establishments.

This was explained by the Director General of Tourism, Sebastián Fernández, in delivering these distinctive held in the city CDT in the presence of the winners and the mayor of the city, Sonja Dietz, President of CEDMA, and Cristina Sellés, President of AEHTMA.

Restaurants like The Marine, Hotels and Hotel Los Angeles, An ice cream shop, a hairdresser or tourist rental companies have been awarded this recognition towards quality tourism.

At the public level, they have received this recognition the castle from Denia; the Archaeological, Ethnological and Joguet museums; the central Tourist Office and the one in Plaza del Consell; the urban cleaning service; the Local Police; the Department of Culture; the beaches de Els Molins, Marines, The Bovetes, Marineta Cassiana y Punta del Raset.

Sebastián Fernández recalled that Dénia has more than 15.000 accommodation places and more than 16.000 spaces restoration, a wide range that adds to the quality of the beaches, with certified quality and environmental management.

SICTED is a project to improve quality in the tourist destination sponsored statewide by the Tourism Institute of Spain (Turespaña) and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provicncias and regional level, driven by the Valencia Region Tourist Board. Its main objective is to offer a consistent level of quality in all services offered to tourists, focusing primarily on improving the experience during your visit.
