The rains of last weekend washed ashore the beaches from Dénia the now common algae, the necessary posidonia, an unequivocal sign that the waters are in excellent health.
On Saturday night, the cleaning devices removed a total of 600 tonnes of algae from the Dianenses beaches. In the Marineta Cassiana 370 tons were removed in a total of 24 trucks. On the Albaranes beach, six trucks removed 100 tons. Finally, on the beach of the Punta del RasetA total of 130 tons were removed with the help of eight trucks.
The cleaning works were completed with a screening on the beaches of Marines from Las Nereidas, passing by The Bovetes, to the beach Els Molins (at the height of the Paquebote).
