Dénia is now ready for the Christmas. Christmas activities will begin on December 5 with the lighting of the city's streets. That day, Dénia will be filled with lights, markets, music, dance, theater, workshops, a Christmas tree, and other activities designed for all ages, programmed by the different council departments of the City Council, to celebrate the Christmas holidays until January 7 of 2024.
Christmas market
On December 6, the Christmas market, which will be located between Plaza del Consell, Racó de la Infanta Margarita and Plaza de la Constitució. The Christmas Market, organized by the Department of Commerce, will open from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and from 17:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m., until December 10. Nit de la Llum
Another of the most anticipated events this year is the Nit de la Llum, which will be on Saturday, December 9, starting at 17:30 p.m. Thousands of candles will decorate the streets of the city, giving a magical and Christmas atmosphere to that evening. In addition, the Municipal Market will be open until 23:00 p.m., and will also have a very special decoration for the event. The Department of Commerce has organized several shows to liven up the streets of the town center, with music, dancers and carol choirs. Shops in the city center will be open until 21:30 p.m., with special discounts so that people can purchase Christmas shopping.
Christmas for all ages
The Valencià Promotion Office will distribute on December 5 to all schools in Dénia, La Xara and Jesús Pobre a model letter of Wise Men in Valencian, so that the little ones in the house can make their wishes.
