The secrets of the landscape Marina Alta are coming to light for many people thanks to the excursion program Descobreix el paisatge, launched by the Department of Environment, Agriculture and Climate Change and the Office of Innovation and Creativity of the City of Dénia.

Descobreix el paisatge is part of the Strategy of agricultural and territorial dynamisation 2017 / 2020, within the Local Action Plan Dénia & Marina alta #Tastinglife, base of the initiative Dénia-UNESCO Creative City of the Gastronomy, with the collaboration of city councils, diverse entities, and the producers of the Marina Alta and a special visit to the Huerta.

Last Sunday, the program moved to the Vall de Gallinera to enjoy it in full season of cherries.

Hand in hand with Cooperativa Cireres Muntanya d'Alpatró and the Cooperative Sant Roc from Benialí, the participants learned first-hand about the fields and facilities of the cooperatives and the whole production process and, in addition, they were able to taste varieties of local cherries.
