The environmental organization Dénia Sustainable Culture yesterday reported the presence of garbage in the ditches of the road near the Dénia funeral home. In the images sent to the press you can see the presence of plastic containers along the road.
«This is a precarious street cleaning service, and it is not an isolated case, there are thousands of kilometers of roads in the Marina Alta full of uncleaned garbage," they stated from the entity.
In the Netherlands we have a national nature cleanup day once a year. Then each citizen will be able to receive a prod and garbage bags from the municipality and that day a lot of Dutch people will go out to collect garbage on all the roads and parks. I would be happy to participate in a cleaning day like this one in Denia because the amount of dirt that is everywhere is absolutely scandalous. People really throw everything out of their car window or similar. Keep it with you and throw it in the trash at home!
