The Cavalcade of the Magi full of illusion the center of Dénia

As uphill as things go, the most magical evening of the year is still special. And all thanks to the enthusiasm of the thousands of boys and girls who enjoyed the arrival of the Wise Men to Dénia in the parade that took place through the center of the city.

Minutes after 17: 00 hours, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar, accompanied by his pages, arrived at the port of Denia on board the Solar and ecological boat. Hundreds of people waited at the Moll of Martell arrival, which was celebrated with a batucada sound. Those present had the opportunity to personally greet Their Majesties, who were very close to the public.

In the 18: 00 hours, punctual to his appointment, tore the cavalcade headed by the favorite characters of the smallest: Patrol Dog, Mickey and Minnie o Minions to the delight of the thousands d enynes and girls awaiting the arrival of the three wise men. Behind them, a colorful spectacle of jugglers and stilt walkers; dancers fire; Ballet letters to the Magi and a dozen horses preceding the star that guided the Kings.

Melchor's float, provided by the fails Center, had the collaboration of the falleros and falleras of Paris Pedrera and the Cuqui Ivars ballet. Gaspar had the company of the festeras of the Filà Amazigh and the ballet Babylon School Dance; and Baltasar was escorted by the Quintos of 2017 and the Dance Studio Patricia Sentí. To end the entourage, the band encouraged the audience to Dénia and very festive Christmas pieces.

The Kings came down from their floats in the Plaza del Consell, and from there they walked to the Town Hall. One by one, they adored the baby Jesus in the Living Nativity Scene that the parish of San Miguel made, to then address the boys and girls of the city from the balcony of the City Hall. It was Baltasar who took the floor, with a speech in Valencian and Spanish in which he asked the children and their parents to continue taking care of the city so that each year it is more beautiful. Grateful for the support of the Dianenses, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar attended the boys and girls who came after the fireworks display.

The night has been very long for Their Majesties, who certainly have been able to regain strength in each house with snacks, sweets and liqueurs children of Dénia have left them on the balconies.
