A roundabout crossed by the train track, which becomes the median of the Joan Fuster avenue, each of the sides being assigned to the same direction. These are the solutions that Dénia City Council has proposed to the Consellería de Infraestructuras to solve the problem of traffic in the area of Joan Fuster and Calle Diana.
But we split. Dianense consistory's proposal begins with the creation of a roundabout at the junction with Diana Street Joan Fuster Avenue. This would roundabout crossed by the railway and regulated by two level crossings.
Likewise, the train track is expected to act as a median for the avenue, which now has two lanes in each direction. The section attached to the Bosc de Diana and the Joan Fuster sports center would make sense towards Les Rotes and the other towards La Pedrera.
But the proposal does not stop there: they also want to solve connection with street Pintor Llorens Avenue Joan Fuster, who are currently separated by the railway line and a fence that prevents the passage of pedestrians. To do this, they would build a level crossing that connects both sides.
These proposals have been transferred to the Consellería de Infraestructuras in a meeting held in Dénia, and the technicians have expressed to the mayor, Vicent GrimaltWhich, after study, they consider that the project presented by Denia is a good solution to the problem of traffic and road safety.
This first approval of Infrastructure, the next step is to present the project to Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana, which shall draw up a report on the steps planned levels and other technical issues within its competence.
