The City of Dénia will tomorrow raise to Consellería two petitions: the suspension of the General Plan of 1972 and the approval of transitional urbanistic rules in Denia. And all with the aim of solving, as soon as possible, the urban situation in which the city is immersed after the annulment of the RUT.
The councilor of the area, Maria Josep Ripoll, has explained that they are going to take advantage of this request to include in the new transitory urban document of Dénia several novelties. On the one hand, the new arrangement of the Baroness's estate in compliance with the sentence that obliges them to do so. On the other hand, they will incorporate the forecast so that the schools of La Xara and Raquel Payà can be built soon.
In addition, they will include the new catalog of protected goods and spaces of the municipality, which was approved in 2015 and was written by the architect Pep Ivars, a more modern and modern catalog that was already exposed to the public.
Although the deadlines for execution of this procedure are unknown, the fact is that, from the annulment of the General Plan of 72 until the Conselleria approves the new RUT, Dénia will be left without urban planning. This situation is already contemplated in the new urban law, LOTUP. Ripoll says it's better not to have planning than to have obsolete planning.
