About thirty young people will be examined after performing the moped driving course

A total of 31 young people between 14 and 16 years have participated, from the 21 from June to the 20 of July, in the XVI Course of training of drivers of moped that organizes the Department of Road Education of the Local Police of Dénia.

This Thursday, all of them received the diplomas from the hands of the mayor of Denia, Vicent Grimalt, Who was accompanied by the Councilor for Citizen Security and Mobility, Javier Scotto, the principal-chief mayor, José Martínez Espasa and Emilio José García Cuello, manager of the Motos Quirro workshop, who delivered the certificate of completion of the course to the participants of this sixteenth edition.

The event was led by Manuel Moreno Mas, the coordinator of the course, and was assisted by Salvador Climent Olmedo, from the spinal cord injury association ASPAYM, Pedro Castells Ruano, member of the Provincial Association of Autoescuelas de Alicante, Juan José Sala Soler, a technician from the Community Prevention Unit in Addictive Behaviors of Dénia (UPCCA) and Mª Carmen Requena Cases, from the Local Assembly of the Red Cross of Denia, collaborators of the initiative, who also received a diploma of thanks and a memory of the course.

Next Tuesday, 25 of July, the 31 students will be examined to be able to obtain the license of driving of cilomotor.
