A 14-year-old minor and her puppy were attacked on Monday afternoon while walking along Santísima Trinidad Street, in the Les Roques neighborhood. The events took place around 16:50 p.m., when the young woman was walking her dog.
At that moment they crossed paths with a woman and a dog of dangerous breed that was walking without a muzzle, which attacked the puppy and the girl, causing injuries to both of them.
Up to the place of the events Dénia Local Police officers appeared, that after requesting the documentation of the attacking animal, and checking that it did not exist, they requested the presence of the animal protector APAD. The dog will remain in the shelter until the owner presents the documentation in order, insurance and Vaccination card.
The minor was transported by ambulance to the Denia hospital, where they treated the wounds on the chest and hand that were caused while trying to protect your puppy from the attack of the dog. The young woman was discharged a few hours later. The puppy, on the other hand, suffered injuries in one of the legs.
The agents who prepared the report recommended that the woman and the minor affected report the facts at the police station.
Every dangerous dog must be tied and muzzled. It is established by a Royal Decree. Let's see if the Law is already applied!
