The National Police catches two thieves, one a minor, trying to rob a school in Dénia

In an operation carried out by the National Police in Dénia, the arrest of two individuals who were trying to commit a robbery with force in a school in the city was achieved. The agents, alerted by the activation of the center's security alarm, quickly arrived at the scene, where they surprised the alleged thieves in the middle of their criminal action.

The events took place during the afternoon, when the school alarm detected movement in one of the vocational training areas. Upon arriving at the scene, authorities found one of the suspects outside the premises, manipulating a mobile phone and apparently monitoring the surroundings. The assistance of a witness provided additional information about the robbery in progress.

After establishing a security perimeter around the school, the National Police managed to intercept another individual on one of the building's facades, who was trying to flee the scene. This second person involved turned out to be a minor. Thanks to subsequent investigations and investigations, images from the school's security cameras and testimonies were collected that corroborated the presence of the two young people jumping over the school's fence.

Despite the suspects' attempts, they were unable to steal any objects from the premises. The evidence collected made it possible to establish a clear connection between the detainees and the attempted robbery at the school. The National Police reported these events to the Dénia Police Court of Investigation and the Alicante Juvenile Prosecutor's Office to continue with the corresponding legal process.
