Last acceleration of the works in the center of Dénia so as not to hinder the Fiestas

The center of Dénia is still under construction. From very early on, the operators begin their work to ensure that, as the City Council promised, they are as advanced as possible so that they allow the celebration of Festivities of the Most Holy Sang without having to do tricks with the location of the events. The idea is that Marqués de Campo and Glorieta can be useful spaces where to carry out acts of great importance. And seeing the image that shows the works this Monday, it seems that it will arrive in time for the celebration.

The deadline given in the tender to complete these works at the Dianense center ends this summer. However, until a few weeks ago it did not seem possible that it could be fulfilled. And most worryingly, with the Dénia Fiestas just around the corner, it seemed impossible that these spaces could be used. You have to remember that in Glorieta of the Valencian Country, a stage has to be placed on what was raised ground where the announcing rocket can be launched, have the party on the first Saturday and celebrate the Aplec de Danses. And, of course, in Marqués de Campo many events were held that without that street are almost meaningless: bullfights, correfocs, entraeta de Moors and Christians, Cars...

However, for a few weeks the work has been concentrated in the conflictive areas and that were necessary for the Holidays. You could even see more workers than ever in those areas, focusing on finishing everything on time.

To this day there are few raised areas left in Marqués de Campo. It is practically finished. And the Glorieta goes the same way. The area where the stage will be located, the closest to Quatre Cantons, is being completed. The same happens with part of the side walk that connects with cop race. Of course, once you pass the part required for Fiestas, it still shows a very backward image, so it seems that the Glorieta will still have many weeks of work ahead.
