On Thursday night, the second day of the VIII Dénia Jazz Festival was held. And, again, he did it after hanging the sign of sold out at the box office This new edition confirms the success of this event, selling out seats every week, leaving very few for the final concerts of the festival.
Last night it was the turn of the Australian Jessie Gordon to set foot in the idyllic setting of the Torrecremada gardens. The talented singer is touring Europe with her quartet, which has led her to visit the capital of the Marina Alta. Here, in Dénia, she conquered the large audience with her great vocal personality and charisma on stage.
Next Thursday, possibly the most extraordinary event in the history of the festival will take place. The Ellingtonia Jazz Ensemble will be presented, the first project to emerge from the bowels of the festival itself. And it will not be a simple presentation, but the concert will be recorded to release an album in the coming months.
