A total of seven people will be able to study this year in the Associated Center of the UNED in Dénia thanks to the approval of a new social fund of the center, a pioneering action within the framework of the associated centers of the UNED.
Last Thursday the members of the social fund committee met, made up of Raquel Martí, director of the center; Paco Roselló, Councilor of Finance of the City of Dénia; Jaume Tortosa, Secretary of the UNED of Dénia and José Monserrat, Head of Legal and Technical UNED Dénia.
Thus, the beneficiaries of these grants may cover the price of registration and, in some cases, also the books.
The objective of this aid is to eliminate obstacles and facilitate the incorporation of the population with lower incomes to the University, promoting equal opportunities.
