That Marina Alta is at the worst moment of the pandemic is undeniable. The number of daily positives has quadrupled in the region in just one month. A rate that everything indicates that it will continue to accelerate since the infections caused in the Christmas.
What we already know, as the Ministry of Health has made public today, is the number of outbreaks detected in recent days. And the figure is not at all optimistic: only in Dénia 5 new outbreaks have been detected. Never before in the same update had such a number of contagion groups been reported.
Of course, all of social origin, whose meetings are behind the majority of cases. The smallest of these outbreaks has infected 4 people, another 2 have affected 5 each, another 6 and the largest had already infected 9 people once it was detected. In total, 29 new infections that will be added to the next data update by municipality.
