What can be done in each de-escalation phase?

29 2020 April - 09: 23

During yesterday afternoon the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, announced the measures that the country will undertake for de-escalation after the health crisis towards the new normality. These will be divided into 4 biweekly phases that each province must conquer independently, provided it meets established requirements.

The first of these phases, the 0th stage of preparation for the de-escalation, will start on May 2 with the measures already known regarding minors, solo sport and walks with members of the same residence. Phase 1 or Initial will begin on May 11 in most provinces, and will be the first great relief of restrictions, especially for companies, by opening some hospitality establishments and small businesses.

However, there is still too much in the air with this first announcement. But, yes, the first scheme of indicative measures that we leave you below is already available. It suggests that social contact will be resumed during Phase 1 with limitations, events such as weddings may be held during Phase 2 or access to beaches and discos in Phase 3.

Orientative forecast for the lifting of measures
