'Baby by Alfa & Omega' is born, a new concept of education for 0 to 2 years

With 39 years of experience behind it, the Alfa & Omega school has presented its new 0 to 2 year education project. Baby by Alfa & Omega it is the bet of the center for its youngest students and their families, a bet for the family conciliation in a natural and healthy environment. This was explained by the center's director, Eunice Pastor; the director of the secondary school, Maria Eugenia Utor; and the director of the children's area, Hugo Walthon.

It is a new concept, in which neuroeducation and research on the functioning of the brain at all ages is the basis. To do this, their teachers have researched and have come in situ to the reference places of the different educational methodologies, until forming the new Baby by Alfa & Omega.

This new concept, which covers the integral education of the child from the first day, attends to his emotional, personal and formative individuality through a close and familiar treatment in which the child develops happily. To achieve this, they have made an important renovation of spaces, adapted and equipped according to their needs, in which children have a better space for their development. Both the classrooms and their equipment and programming favor the potential of each child: social-emotional, verbal, spatial, kinésico-corporal, musical and naturalistic.

In addition, we bet on the early stimulation of each child to develop language, to know their body, to explore their environment, to develop their senses and to enjoy the animal and plant nature in the center's farm. To this end, a series of programs are applied that aim to structure their capacities to achieve optimum physical, social and intellectual development.

Likewise, a close relationship is maintained between the family and the professionals of the center for a fluid communication, paying special attention to breastfeeding and family conciliation as the goal of this open-door school for parents.

Native teachers, chess and music

Baby by Alfa & Omega is complemented by native English teachers for two hours a day, who use the game as a vehicle for approaching knowledge and the environment.

In addition, the educational programming of the center makes a strong commitment to chess, relating children with this strategy game from the first day, and they have also included music as a game to start them in this art, thanks to a program of musical stimulation aimed at children of 2 and 3 years.
