Tragic accident on the AP7 highway at the height of Benissa. This morning, at km 627, there has been a multiple collision possibly due to the slippery state of the road that has caused the death of three men.
The events occurred after midnight, when a vehicle circulating in the direction of Alicante has left the road. The occupants of a second vehicle that have witnessed the accident have stopped to help the injured vehicle, and, apparently, when getting off the car, they have been hit by a third vehicle. The two occupants who had left the second vehicle and the driver of the third car have died due to the impact.
The slippery state of the road has caused two other cars could not brake.
Six endowments of the fire stations of Dénia and Benissa have come to the area, along with the Traffic Civil Guard, SAMU and SVB ambulances. The firefighters have released the driver of the deceased and have worked on cleaning the road, which has forced to cut traffic until early this morning.
