With the celebration, next November 25 Sunday, of the International Day Against Gender Violence, Matria, Associació de Dones, will carry out its ninth vaccination campaign against sexist violence. Under the motto "Commit. Day Against Gender Violence", Matria will take to the streets in seven municipalities of the Marina Alta to make this scourge visible and raise public awareness.
That is why this Friday, November 23, Matria will be in the Calle Marques de Campo throughout the morning collecting the suggestions of the citizens to help fight against this scourge that seems not to diminish, but increases.
On the other hand, and as usual, on Sunday, 25, in collaboration with the cinema Club PESSIC, will screen the film The truth of Soraya M with a very current theme in the field of gender violence that will lead to a discussion-debate at the end of the screening.
In addition, the Association, in its task of raising awareness of society, has held five workshops on equality in the IEN number 3 Dénia, as well as three press workshops, "The role of women in the press", directed to the first baccalaureate courses of this center.
