For the second consecutive year, the City Council of Dénia introduces the participatory budget in the municipal budgets and 2019 will allocate a budget of about 200.000 euros from the investment budget to the execution of the projects proposed and chosen by the citizens in a participatory process that starts tomorrow , November 1.
The process is structured in two phases. The first is the collection of proposals and will be developed from 1 to 21 in November. The proposals must be related to actions in which the municipality has competences and can build or acquire, such as the installation of banks or lampposts, parks or improvements to public spaces. It must be taken into account that they must be viable, concrete and economically valuable initiatives.
How to present the proposals
Citizens who so wish can present their proposals during the neighborhood meetings to be held in the month of November:
They can also be presented online by registering them in the Participation Portal www.participadenia.es or by email to the address pciutadana@ayto-denia.es.
Finally, it can be done in person in the Participation Space of the Portelles, in Pare Pere Street, 17. Each person can present as many initiatives as they want.
People may participate in the voting older than 16 years registered in Dénia before the 1 of January of 2018 and older than 18 who, despite not being registered in the municipality, have a property.
Voting proposals
In a second phase, once all the proposals have been evaluated, they will be presented to the public so that they can be studied and voted on by those they consider to be priorities.
The voting period of the selected proposals will be 10 19 to the December. Voting can be done at the meetings of the councilors of the neighborhood, by telematic means in the Participation Portal or in person in the Participation Space of Portelles.
