Around 1.700 students who are currently studying at the Associated Center of the UNED in Dénia can benefit from the agreement reached with the City Council of La Nucía, through which they will have a discount of 50% in the use of the facilities of the Ciutat Esportiva Camilo Cano of La Nucia.
With this agreement, both parties intend to encourage the practice of sport starting this March. To benefit from this offer, students must be accredited by showing the university ID of the UNED at the access of the Ciutat Esportiva Camilo Cano. In consideration, the UNED will include this offer on its website, which will be promoted through the label #LaNuciaCiudadDelDeporte.
For the director of the UNED in Dénia, Raquel Martí, this cooperation is especially noteworthy considering that La Nucía has been part of the Consortium for 38 years.
Bernabé Cano, mayor of La Nucía, said that this agreement helps to give "One more step to promote and consolidate our brand of 'La Nucía, Ciudad Del Deporte'".
