The failures of Dénia honored the exemplary falleros Kiko Sentí and Rafa Rosalem

Two historical commissions in the city, the Saladar fails and fails Center, they boast exemplary falleros this year. And together with the rest of the city commissions and the Local Board Fallera, they celebrated that Rafa Rosalem and Kiko Sentí have been highlighted by the failures of Denia this year.

After the inauguration of the Ninot Exhibition, around two hundred people gathered in the salons the Poblet to celebrate the traditional Sopar de Gala, in which the rewards of Dénia and Valencia were presented to several dozen falleros of all the commissions and the exemplary falleros of this year were honored.

In the first place, a tribute was paid to Rafael Rosalén, from the Saladar fault, the failure of his whole life neighborhood and to which he dedicates his time and efforts. In his trajectory fallera emphasize several presidencies and above all his dedication to the artistic delegation, making float, decorated of presentations or what was necessary.

To speak of him, his wife spoke, who recalled that they met in the fault and began to form a family that is now completed with their two daughters. Incidentally, Itziar, his eldest daughter, is this year so special for the Saladar - the year of the fiftieth anniversary - the major infantile faller of the commission. And for that reason, Itziar also dedicated a few words to her father, who listened excitedly to the words of the little girl. The girl reminded him that when he was named an exemplary fallero, she had to ask him what it meant, but now he is clear about it: an exemplary fallero is him.

Rafa, visibly moved, explained that it is an honor to be recognized for something he does not do by obligation, but for devotion, and thanked the recognition of the fallero world, especially his commission for having chosen him as a candidate in such a special year.

Next, Noelia Cañadas, secretary of the Fallera Local Board, summarized the fallera life of the second exemplary fallero, Kiko Sentí, of the fault Center. With a fallera family where there are, Kiko has dedicated a large part of his life to the Falla Center, collaborating in all the tasks in which he was needed.

A video of photographs of the memory was projected while his brother dedicated some especially beautiful words to him when remembering the figure of his father, but also many moments lived together in the fault. His daughter Alicia took over to talk about the admiration she feels for her father and how proud she is that she has been recognized as Exemplary Fallero of the failures of Dénia.

Kiko, for his part, wanted to thank the support of all the people around him, from his family to his friends, going through the commission of the Center failure, remembering that his life, from the cradle, has revolved around the world fallero
