The March 28 started the university extension course at the UNED Dénia Associated Center "Emotional relationships of couple". The course was presented by Mª Ángeles Menéndez Gutiérrez, Academic Coordinator of the UNED in Dénia, and Andrés LópezdelaLlave Rodríguez, Full Professor of the University.
In the first intervention Andrés Lópezdelallave highlighted the role of psychologists in the education and promotion of sexual health, aimed at transmitting knowledge and facilitating healthy attitudes since, regardless of cultural level and age, there is a general ignorance that, accompanied by negative attitudes, generates 90% of sexual problems.
The next lecture was given by Carmen More Llull, sexologist, psychologist and PT UNED Dénia who spoke about how emotions affect sexual relationships and the importance of learning to manage them and be aware of them in order to self-govern.
The paper ended by relating the different concepts with sexuality and establishing that "Sexuality is communication and the highest way to enjoy it is knowing what our partner likes, how, where and when, both to satisfy and satisfy ourselves, because in this way we can not only increase and enhance our sexual pleasure , but also to prevent our partner from making us feel annoying or uncomfortable physically or psychologically ".
The 29 day the programming continued with Jesús Esteras Peña, Doctor in Psychology and PT UNED Dénia who gave the lectures "Falling in love and love" y "How to improve emotions in relationships". He began by differentiating between love and falling in love, two commonly confused concepts that can lead the couple to conflict. He shared how it is more and more frequent to find people who, despite having everything, do not find meaning in life, this being the consequence of understanding happiness as an objective, something that one has, while in reality true happiness it is experienced after having learned the art of love.
It was a course that, in addition to covering the technical aspects of emotional relationships as a couple, brought clarity and practical wisdom to the way of building and managing something as fundamental as human relationships.
