In order to improve the coexistence of children, young people and adults in the different contexts of socialization - educational centers, family and society - the Social Center will host the celebration of the I Socio-educational Sessions of Denia Focused on the theme 0 Violence since the 0 years.

Programming of the First Socio-educational Sessions of Denia

The sessions, organized by the Servei Psicopedagogògic Escolar (SPE) Marina Alta and the Center for Training, Innovation and Educational Resources (CEFIRE) of Alicante, with the collaboration of the Dénia City Council, the associations of fathers and mothers of the educational centers of Dénia, La Xara and Jesús Pobre and authorized municipal cabinets of the region, They already have 348 people registered and there are still places until the capacity of the Social Center is covered. All the I Socio-educational Sessions of Denia Will begin on Thursday 22 in September, when the international scientific contributions for the eradication of violence will be addressed by the Professor of Sociology of the University of Barcelona Ramón Flecha and the doctor in Sociology by the University of Barcelona and member of the Research Center In Theories and Practices Overcoming Inequalities (CREA), Lidia Puigvert.

The 26 and 27 days will be presented the experiences of several public, concerted and private educational centers of the Valencian Community and Catalonia in the application of the dialogic model for the elimination of violence.

Presentation of the First Societies of Denia

The director of the SPE, Remei Gómez, wanted to highlight especially that it is an activity open to the public that has been extended to the educational community, families, local associations related to equality, disability or youth, and the judicial sectors, health and safety.
