Sunday, May 14, Dénia mark World Migratory Bird Day with a full program of free activities for all audiences. The purpose of this meeting is to present the importance of the area in which we live in migratory birds travel and therefore the need to protect and prevent threats.
To this end, the Department of Environment, in collaboration with the company Magic & Nature, Organized visits paths Pego-Oliva and the marine reserve of Cap de Sant Antoni.
In the morning, of 9 to 13 hours, participants will visit the natural park of the Pego-Oliva and discover its importance during migration. a guided walk through different habitats of the park and a scientific ringing session hand expert in biological sciences and birds Francisco Atiénzar itinerary will take place. The bus will travel to participants at 9 hours Torrecremada Park.
In the afternoon, of 18 to 19.30 hours, a bird watching session and catamaran whale marine reserve of Cap de Sant Antoni will take place.
