The Provincial Firefighters Consortium has reported, at 19:55 p.m., that the fire declared in the vicinity of the Cova del Camell, in the Natural Park Montgó, is considered controlled, which means that it has been possible to isolate and stop its reach and spread within the control lines.
In the area four aerial means have been working, one dedicated to extinction tasks and another three ready for relays.
The fire has started at 15: 50 hours in the Montgó massif, between the municipal districts of Dénia and Xàbia, and has mobilized all the air and land resources available in the area. The Advanced Command Post (PMA) has been installed in the Dénia firing range, on the Les Planes road. The first estimates speak of around 6 calcified hectares.
