With the aim of highlighting the agricultural heritage and the local territory, as well as promoting the tourist revitalization of the environmental and agroecological environment, the Dénia City Council launches a program of guided visits to the agricultural heritage of the Marina Alta Guided by local producers.
Discover the landscape It consists of ten visits to the territory of the Marina Alta and a special visit to the Huerta de Valencia guided by agri-food producers, with the participation of a total of 23 local producing companies.
All program visits are free, of low difficulty and will last approximately 3 hours. Places are limited and those interested in attending must register before the Thursday before each visit, by sending an email to the address deniaviva@ayto-denia.es.
The meeting and departure point from Dénia will be the Municipal House of Culture. The departure time of the bus that will displace the participants is at 9.30 hours, except the summer months (July and August), which will leave at 17.30 hours in the afternoon. In the localities where the visit is made, the meeting and departure point will always be in front of the municipality of the municipality, at 10 hours. In the summer months it will be released at 18 hours.
The initiative was presented this morning by the councilor for Environment, Agriculture and Climate Change, Josep Crespo, Àlvar Kuehn, agriculture technician of the Office of Innovation and Creativity, Alex Romà, councilor of Agriculture of Alcalalí, and Miguel Andrés, representing the SAT Labradores de Alcalalí, municipality where this program of guided visits starts next 25 in February.
