The National Police has stopped in Xàbia a man of 36 years accused of striking three people in a downtown bar in the English city of Liverpool.
The facts began as a result of a discussion between two clients of the bar, which generated an especially violent episode on the part of the aggressor towards the main victim. As explained by the National Police, the detainee took out a knife and began to give him several cuts in the face, and seeing this several customers of the bar came to his aid.
Far from ceasing his attack, the now detainee assaulted these customers until the doorman of the bar managed to get him out of the establishment. The main victim had to receive a hundred points in the face, leaving both physical and mental consequences. Those who went to help the victim suffered slight injuries by a knife.
It was last 5 in June when the National Police arrested the defendant at his home in Xàbia. Due to these facts, the defendant was placed at the disposal of the Audiencia Nacional in Madrid to carry out the execution of the European Arrest and Release Order concerned and issued by the United Kingdom.
