A total of samplings 48, 46 have determined that the quality of the waters of Dénia is "Excellent"While the remaining two, made in the Marineta Casiana, it is established that it is "good".
These are the results that are extracted from a study carried out by the Department of the Environment of Dénia and the General Water Directorate since last June and that will last until September 15. Among the actions carried out are the taking of seawater samples, inspections in the beaches and of riverbed effluents that discharge into the sea with possible contamination contributions. This guarantees being able to know, in real time, possible situations that could cause risks to the health of users or the environment.
This study also discarded cases water quality sufficient or insufficient category according to the values set in the RD 1341 October 2007 quality of bathing water.
The area councilor, Josep Crespo, Noted that despite having a positive analytical demonstrating the quality of our waters, we must continue working to maintain the long-term outcome and improve if need be.
