One more year, the FEMMICC Dénia has brought together citizens and the festive world of Moors and Christians from Dénia for a good cause. This past Wednesday, dozens of people gathered at the Social Center to donate blood in the new edition of the Festive Blood Donation organized by the Federació de Moros i Cristians de Dénia, together with the Dénia City Council.
Special emphasis must be placed on the fact that for each donation registered in the donation bank, up to ten lives can be saved, so events like these are very important for the well-being of many people.
The president of the FEMMICC Dénia, Sonia Pérez, has thanked "the collaboration of the city council to be able to carry out this solidarity act".
For his part, the Councilor for Public Health in the Dénia City Council, Rafa Carrió, has congratulated and thanked the delegation of the Moors and Christians of Dénia for having this initiative. A gesture, he assured, "that costs nothing and that saves many lives."
Also present at this very special meeting were the captains of this year's captaincies, Pedro Carrió, from the Filà Deniers, and Pedro Juan González, from the Filà Amiries
