Five hours had to invest cash from Dénia Regional Fire Park in the extinction, this Sunday, 1 July, a fire originated in the composting plant located at the entrance of the city.
The fire was caused, for reasons that are unknown, to the 16: 00 hours. From the Regional Park of Firemen of Dénia four firemen vehicles moved (two wet nurses, a first exit and one of control and headquarters) and seven anti-fire fighters.
In order to finally put out the fire, the firefighters had to remove the mountains of algae to put out internal fires, some tasks that ended at 21: 00 hours. It should be noted that, thanks to the meticulous work carried out, the fire was prevented from spreading to a nearby silo.
