The Les Deveses reopens to bathers after the discovery, on Monday afternoon, of a copy of Portuguese caravel. With caution, yes. Red flag has gone to yellow flag.
Since it was the only Portuguese caravel specimen sighted in Dénia, maritime rescue personnel have combed the area without sighting new specimens. At 15: 00 hours, as planned, the ban on bathing in the area has been lifted.
However, and as a precaution, the vessel will continue to perform dynamic surveillance from the water.
From the surveillance service beaches, as well as from the City Council, they transmit a message of tranquility and normality to the population, since the protocol of sighting and extraction of the found specimen occurred with total normality.
