The Minister of Health, Ana Barceló, will visit La Pedrera hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, at 17:00 p.m., as part of its tenth anniversary celebrations. When she arrives, a welcoming committee has already announced that she will receive him with protest banners. It was one of the conclusions agreed on Monday afternoon in the Participatory Assembly of the Platform in Defense of Public Health of the Marina Alta.
The intention of the members of the platform is to carry two banners. One, demanding the "real reversal now", and the other, with the message "Volem parlar amb tu".
But in addition to this action claim, from the platform also agreed to send a statement to Councilor Barceló requesting information on the roadmap to follow to get the health reversal.
It was also agreed that the commission formed between the Xarxa d'Mayors and the Platform for Public Health of the Marina Alta request a meeting with the consellera and call a public gathering.
Health workers and political representatives, such as the Councilors of Health of Dénia, participated in the assembly. Xàbia, Cristina Morera and Pilar Zamora; of Compromís, as the deputy in Les Corts, Josep Nadal, or the Deputy Mayor of Dénia, Rafa Carrió; from Esquerra Unida, María José Gómez Pimpollo; of REiniciem Benissa, as Mayor Abel Cardona; representatives of Podemos at the regional and local level, such as María Rosa Medel; and representatives of Iaioflautas of the Marina Alta.
