27 September 2011 - 12: 01

After the criticisms issued yesterday by the socialist group Dénia, the councilor of Finance Vicente Chelet He wanted to make clear the reasons why the list of invoices included in ICO credit funds (1,8 million Euros) have had to be modified and exclude certain suppliers.

Michelet explained that the credit information was received on August 22, approved by the Governing Board and immediately began working on the list of invoices by a computer program prepared for this purpose. Officials realized that this program is not allowed to insert certain tax numbers, so they called the ICO and that was when they were informed that the invoices issued by owners' associations, bodies of the State Administration or the Autonomous Communities, Corporations local, public bodies or associations could not be included in the list. Such information, according to the government team, did not appear in the first informative documentation received, but was later modified on the website.

According to Chelet, Socialist Party Dénia knew that situation, as they were informed in the Finance Committee. Pepa Sivera, Deputy mayor, said the PSOE that make "Pure demagogy, look for the impact and confuse the population" .

Vicente Chelet recalled that the Socialist Party voted in favor of the lists when they were approved in plenary, and does not understand why they did if they knew there was a mistake.
