The PSOE of Dénia reacts to the possible resignation of Pedro Sánchez

25 2024 April - 13: 46

"It is worth it, and a lot, Pedro, for you to continue at the head of the government," said the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, through a Facebook message this Thursday on the occasion of the possible resignation of Pedro Sánchez as President of the Government.

Sánchez announced yesterday through a statement on Twitter his possible resignation due to the complaint by the far-right pseudo-union Manos Médicas against Begoña Gómez, his wife, for alleged influence peddling and corruption.

"What this country does not deserve is this dirty policy of lies and insinuations with which the interests of the party are hidden," Grimalt defended.

The mayor wanted to highlight that Spain "deserves a president who supports dialogue and harmony, who respects the uniqueness of the different regions of Spain, who speaks clearly about the need for recognition of a Palestinian state, who wants peace, and that bravely addresses the necessary transition towards sustainability and defends freedom for all.

Councilor for Citizen Security, Javier Scotto, has also denounced the situation on its Facebook page, alluding to the fact that "not everything goes in politics", and they are not "willing to sacrifice everything for politics." The councilor has described the situation as "slander, insults, fake news, ignominy, fraudulent use of justice, persecution of a right of the PP and the extreme right of VOX who have no limits or shame.

  1. Enrique says:

Whoever came to power because of an anti-corruption motion turns out to be corrupt anyway. Liar, we already knew it was a lot. Has he deceived us in this too? What he has more than proven is to be a cheat, a liar and a traitor. And that he likes dealing with criminals more. (Terrorists and independence supporters) than with honest people, that is why he is so fond of Judges. What country is this casteless and disturbed character leaving!!

Has the City Council provided a bus and mortadella sandwiches to go to the Ferraz pilgrimage in Madrid, today, Saturday?

  2. Jopelin says:

Pedro…Pedro…don't abandon us. What are we going to do without you?
Remember that if you leave our bargain runs out and thousands of people from all over Spain run out.
