The approval of the final version of the General Structural Plan, of November 2022, will be taken to the ordinary plenary session this month, which will be held on the 24th. This provisional approval by the Dénia City Council ends the process of processing the document that it will govern the urban action in the municipal term during the next years; a path that began in 2017 with the exposure, public information and request for sectoral reports of the preliminary version of the plan.
Once the approval of the Municipal Corporation has been obtained, the General Structural Plan will be sent for final approval to the competent body, in this case, the Territorial Urban Planning Commission of Alicante, "which will analyze the document and proceed to its final approval with the greatest as quickly as possible, since both administrations have collaborated from the beginning with the shared interest of moving forward with the document”, affirms the Councilor for Territory and Urban Quality, Maria Josep Ripoll.
