At 12 noon today, Monday, May 10, the voting phase of the 2022 Participatory Budgets has closed. And the proposal that has obtained the highest number of votes, 539 of the total of 5.189 registered, is "Improvements along the way of the Pou de la Muntanya (Montgó-Paidos): sidewalks, lighting, painting and road signs, for the safety of pedestrians, schoolchildren and cyclists ".
In the list of 26 ideas selected, from among the more than 600 contributed by citizens during the month of February, the demand for facilities and initiatives that facilitate the practice of sport in the city and for actions to improve asphalt and sidewalks predominates. in different points of the urban area and the disseminated one; followed by ideas for new playgrounds and the burial of containers.
The results of the voting once again show these preferences. The second most successful proposal, with 321 votes, is the creation of a themed slide park. And in third place, with 304 votes, the bicycle circuit ('pump track').
The list of actions prioritized by the public will be carried out until the financial allocation for Participatory Budgets this year is exhausted: € 350.000.
The total number of people who have participated in the voting phase is 1.605 (each person could choose up to five proposals).
