A group of Swedish tour operators have toured several Valencian cities, in a trip organized by the Spanish Tourism Office in Sweden together with the Swedish tour operator Resse Konsulterna and the Valencian Tourism Agency.
Sagunto, Peñíscola, Valencia, Alicante, Benidorm, Torrevieja or Elche have been other cities that have traveled this fam-trip (journey of familiarization with the destination) through the Region of Valencia.
Councilor for Tourism, Pepa FontHas stated that "That tour operators know the destination and its tourist products can be a key factor when they can decide on the marketing in our area and fortunately the tour operators who visit us are often surprised by the beauty of our landscapes and the richness of infrastructure, resources and tourism products ".
