This week the flu prevention campaign has started in the Valencian Community, and the Dénia Health Department has received more than 30.000 doses for the entire Marina Alta.
The campaign, which is called "Turn off the flu. Get vaccinated", is especially aimed at the population at risk, consisting of over 59 years, pregnant women, patients with chronic diseases and health personnel. To receive this year's dose, interested persons must make an appointment at their health center.
In the presentation of the campaign were present the Director of the Assistance Network of the Department of Health of Dénia, Ángel Calcedo, the Director of Public Health, Pascual Martí, and the Councilor for Health of the town hall of the city, Marcela Server.
