The main companies in the port of Dénia (Baleària, Varadero Port Dénia, El Portet, Mundo Marino, Náutica Noguera, the Pòsit de Pescadors and Marina Dénia) have recently formed the Associació d'Empresaris del Port de Dénia - Port Dianium, whose objective is
promote the progress and growth of the business economic sector the port of Denia and promote greater collaboration among partners.
According to the statutes of the new association, the Board of Directors has been composed of Albert Morell (Varadero Port Dénia) as president, Gabriel Martínez (Marina Dénia) as first vice-president, Juan Carlos de Haro (World Marino) as second vice president, Juan A. Sepulcre (Pòsit de Pescadors) as third vice president, Luis Mira (El Portet) as secretary, and Josep V. Mascarell (Baleària), as treasurer.
Integrate the port into their social environment
The main objective of the association is the social integration of the port, that is, to reconcile port activity with their social environment. To do this, Port Dianium is working on a plan of action for the next two years that will improve the public image of the port, increase social support, improve facilities, enhance training and culture, and educate the authorities of the need to social integration work.
In addition, the Association of Entrepreneurs of Port Denia also aims to promote and defend the professional and business interests of its members, informing and advising partners, raise Administration initiatives and complaints from members of the association, or reconcile the differences between the affiliated companies.
For this are planned activities to promote legislative, economic or other reforms necessary for the further growth of the business sector of the port, to publicize the importance of this sector and improve the professionalism of these companies (through working groups, seminars, seminars, conferences, etc.).
