The Ministry of Health has facilitated the updating of the data on the evolution of the coronavirus by municipalities of the Community. From the latest figures, obtained last Friday, the region of the Marina Alta it has registered a total of 46 new infections; a positive data with respect to the previous update in which there was a shot of positives adding 70 new cases.
In this new update by municipalities and health departments, that of Dénia, to which the entire region corresponds, accumulates a total of 2.091 cases since last March. In the last two weeks there have been 138 cases registered in the Marina Alta.
The negative data of this new update is the death registered in the region, specifically in the town of Calp, which brings to 38 the number of people who have lost their lives positive in COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
By municipalities, Dénia has been the town that has added the most infections in this new update, with 12 new cases. Xàbia It has counted 10 new positive cases, accumulating 260 infections since last March, 34 of them in the last two weeks. In the rest of the region: Calp has added 10 new cases, Teulada has registered 3 infections, Gata de Gorgos 5, Pedreguer 1, Pego 1, El Verger 1, Xaló 1, Benimeli 1 and Benissa 1.
