Today the bidding process for the redevelopment project of bower del País Valencià and the surrounding streets (Cop, Ramón y Cajal and Callejón de Morant) with a budget that amounts to 1.267.429 euros.

The works are co-financed by the Dénia City Council (€735.343, in charge of Next Generation European funds) and the Alicante Provincial Council (€532.086, included in the Plan Plan). Companies that want to submit to the tender will have until June 1.

The justifying report of the project establishes in 9 months the period of execution of the works. Also included, among other criteria for evaluating the offers, are the improvements that will score in the award beyond the economic proposal: the installation of underground containers, the change of retractable pylons for automatic ones or the remote management of lighting.

The project specifies that the work plan will be structured in three phases: it will start with the Glorieta and then work will be carried out in stages on Calle Ramón y Cajal and Callejón de Morand (phase 2) and, finally, on the street Cop (phase 3).

Half of the budget, approximately, will be invested to renew the sanitation, drinking water, public lighting (with LED technology) and rainwater infrastructures. As for the aesthetic remodeling, the transformation of this emblematic area of the city, located in the heart of the city and leading to Calle del Marqués de Campo, has the objective of consolidating it as a pedestrian space with a single platform, with the elements in height adapted to accessibility standards.

The new image will maintain the elliptical geometry and will expand the space dedicated to natural vegetation, which will be native. The characteristic red tiles and the stone pavement of the central area, as well as the fountain, will also be preserved.

All investments go to the Urban Center, which is where it is seen. For when a little investment in Las Rotas. For example: Camí les Troies (poorly paved with potholes and holes and still no electric lighting, no sewage,) etc…..

  2. Juan says:

It is a shame that there are such frivolous urban plans when the health sector is crying out for more investment. Or how about we cut these side projects and lower taxes instead of raising them? They can wait
