The Alicante Provincial Firefighters Consortium received a notice at 17:52 p.m. reporting about a group of three women lost in one of the ravines down one of the Montgó routes, in Dénia.
According to the information report, one of the members of the group, a 23-year-old woman, was injured in her foot after a fall, requiring urgent assistance. Faced with this situation, the Alpha 01 Rescue helicopter was deployed, along with the Mountain Rescue Group (GER) and a various rescue van (FSV).
However, due to the adverse weather conditions, characterized by strong winds in the area, the helicopter had to return, leaving the intervention in the hands of the Dénia park firefighters.
Currently, the intervention is still ongoing, with firefighters guiding the group of women back to the beginning of the route.
